flaming sweet potato fries


Blake requested fries which was great since I have been craving them! That’s how our flaming sweet potato fries were created.

Simple and quick if you cut them thin, the way we like them. These fries are baked with rosemary and cayenne pepper so they have a kick but are really tasty! You can turn up or down the heat to meet your own preference and these go great with our vegan burgers.

3 medium sweet potatoes
3 tbs canola oil
1 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp OR HOW MUCH YOU WANT cayenne pepper
salt (optional)

wash and scrub your potatoes
(we leave the skins on because we like our fries like that but you can peel them if you prefer)
cut the ends off and discard then cut or slice your potatoes how you like them and place them in a large bowl
mix the rosemary and cayenne into the oil
pour the oil mixture onto the potatoes and toss around in the bowl to coat them
spread the fries out on a baking sheet and bake at 425 for 18-20 minutes
you will need to turn them or mix them around 1/2 way through
when they come out of the over sprinkle a little salt, if you want, and ENJOY!
